On 15 July, at the Emerald Hall of the Songdo Central Park Hotel in Incheon, CONNECTIN received an Excellence Award at the 2026 Capital & Gangwon IP·IR Networking Day (LINK-IP·RAISE-IR). It was an occasion where the way CONNECTIN has taken on an old problem in construction head-on was recognised from both an intellectual property and an investment point of view.
A networking day that brought promising IP companies together
The event was hosted by Korea’s intellectual property authorities together with the Korea Invention Promotion Association, Incheon Metropolitan City, and the regional intellectual property centres (RIPC) of Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon and Gangwon. Promising startups that have grown on the strength of their technology and intellectual property came together to present their capabilities, their business, and where they are headed, in front of judges, investors and partner organisations. Beyond the awards themselves, it was a chance for IP-based companies to see what the others are building and to find the first threads of collaboration.
Among them, CONNECTIN drew attention as a company redefining the problems of a traditional industry — construction — through technology and data.
Why CONNECTIN stood out
Construction sites carry an old structural problem. Every day large numbers of day labourers move between sites, but their work records are scattered across those sites and broken up, never joining into anything continuous. When clock-ins and clock-outs are not recorded properly, man-days and settlement drift apart; when work history is opaque, safety management and head-office reporting wobble along with it.
This is exactly the point CONNECTIN set out to address. Starting from verified work records, ilyongyee — our smart site operations solution — threads attendance, man-days, settlement and safety management into a single flow of data, so that information once scattered across sites can be managed by head office in real time on one screen. The award recognises both the clarity of that problem definition and the execution that has turned it into a real product on real sites.
Verified records, for smarter and safer sites
The direction CONNECTIN is heading in is clear. When work records accumulate accurately and reliably, that data becomes more than an attendance ledger: it becomes the means to run a site more intelligently and keep it safer. Settlement becomes transparent, safety management becomes tighter, and the distance between head office and the site narrows.
This Excellence Award is a valuable milestone on that journey. True to our promise to connect work, people and value, CONNECTIN will keep proving on site how verified work records lead to smarter operations and safer construction.
