Hello from CONNECTIN.
From 5 to 8 August we exhibited at KOREA BUILD, the largest architecture, construction and interiors trade fair in Korea, and we have now wrapped up a good four days.
We met contractors and site people at the booth and talked through how their sites are run today. Those conversations confirmed, once again, how much appetite there is for change in site operations. Thank you to everyone who gave us their time, listened to the story of CONNECTIN and ilyongyee, and shared their own.
The fair was our proper introduction of ilyongyee, the smart site operations system we have built around problems we found on site ourselves and around what workers and managers told us they needed.
A Challenge Prize at the Hoban Group competition
At the Hoban Group competition held alongside KOREA BUILD, ilyongyee received the Challenge Prize — recognition for the change it is bringing to how sites are run.
CONNECTIN starts from the people at the centre of a site and from the real data their work produces. Building genuine change on the two things that describe a site best — its people and its data — is, we think, the reason CONNECTIN and ilyongyee are being recognised.
KOREA BUILD is a beginning. ilyongyee will keep meeting more sites, and we will keep working so that a day on site becomes data, and that data leads to better decisions and better operations.
Beyond DX for contractors, all the way to AX. By connecting people, we will set a new standard for how construction sites are run.
